The FIND-R-SCOPE® CU400-27 is a threaded +4 diopter Close-Up lens. Its size and threads are compatible with the 25mm C-mount objective lens that supplied as standard with many of the Find-R-Scope "C" series IR Viewers. The standard 25 mm, f/1.6 objective lens focuses the FIND-R-SCOPE from 200 mm (7.8”) to infinity. When attached to the 25mm lens this optional close-up lens allows for viewing closer, (from 110 to 250mm), for use on applications such as aligning and verify fiber optic sources. The CU400-27 is a stackable accessory. The Close-Up Lens is compatible with other accessories such as mounted filters with the same M27 thread size. They have compatible threads, so they can be stacked. The FIND-R-SCOPEs have a wide variety of applications in many different industries. These applications are further expanded by taking advantage of the available accessories. (See accessory section for popular accessories.) A variety of longpass, shortpass, bandpass, and neutral density filters can enhance applications including low light surveillance, biological research, electrical maintenance, hot-spot detection, clinical medicine, and viewing in photographic darkrooms to name a few.
