FIND-R-SCOPE® 2X Plus Kit Model 85268C2XP includes the 84499C Infrared Viewer, with an optional 50mm C-Mount Lens objective lens in addition to the standard 25mm lens. The 50mm lens includes an adjustable aperture that ranges from f/1.8 to close. The kit also includes an LP830 Visible Blocking Filter, a CU400 Close-Up Lens, a Step-Up Ring, and a Ni200 Vis-NIR Neutral Density Filter. Save $ when purchased as a kit! The included 84499C FIND-R-SCOPE® is a self-contained, hand-held infrared viewer operating in the near-infrared region of the spectrum. An image converter tube, and high voltage power supply combine with a 25mm C-Mount objective lens and other precision optics to permit a view of objects or images which cannot otherwise be seen by the naked eye. The LP830-30.5 Filter is a screw on lens accessory. This longpass filter blocks the visible spectrum for a better signal-to-noise ratio when viewing the near-IR. (Threshold minimum @ 780 nm.) Its 30.5 mm thread allows it to be used directly with the 50 mm lens, or with the 25 mm lens in combination with the SU27-30.5 Step-Up Ring. The CU400-27 Close-Up Lens is a screw on lens accessory. This lens allows the 25mm lens to provide a M.O.D. (minimum object distance) capability of 110mm, and an approximate focusing span from 110mm to 250mm (4.3-9.8").
The Ni200-30.5 Filter is a screw on lens accessory. The Ni200 Neutral Density Filter serves as “sunglasses” for your system. Designed to reduce light intensity neutrally over a specific wavelength range without affecting contrast. This low-reflectivity filter is effective from 400-2000nm, and provides approximately 1% transmission across its range. Its 30.5 mm thread allows it to be used directly with the 50 mm lens, or with the 25 mm lens in combination with the SU27-30.5 Step-Up Ring. The Close-Up Lens and above filters are threaded screw-on lens accessories. They have threads n both the front and rear so that same accessories with the same diameter threads can be stacked. (When using the CU-400, make sure that you attach the CU-400 lens to the main objective lens first.) The built in aperture of the lens eliminates the need for an external iris accessory.
