The FIND-R-SCOPE® 80968 Custom Microscope Attachment adapter is used in place of the FIND-R-SCOPE objective lens assembly to convert your microscope to an infrared or UV viewing instrument. It is designed for use on microscopes with an eyepiece tube outer diameter larger than 32.5 mm, and not larger than 40.6 mm. It includes an 830 nm longpass visible blocking filter (abs. min. at 780 nm).
Mounting: The 80968 Custom Microscope Attachment adapter is used to mount your “folded” Find-R-Scope to your microscope. The adapter is used in lieu of the eyepiece on your microscope, and the objective lens assembly on the FIND-R-SCOPE. In this way it converts your microscope to an infrared or UV viewing instrument.
Compatibility: The 80968 is compatible with FIND-R-SCOPE models 84530A, 84530A-5, 84530UV and 84530UV-5. The 80968 Custom Microscope Attachment is designed for use with an outer diameter eyepiece tube larger than 32.5 mm, and not larger than 40.6 mm outer diameter.
Other Sizes: If your microscope eyepiece tube has a 25 mm O.D., use the “RMS” Microscope Attachment model 80386. If your tube is 32.5 mm, use the “G” Microscope Attachment model 80596. Important! After placing your order online, to complete your order you must contact FJW Optical Systems and advise us of your specific eyepiece tube outer diameter and to determine the specific delivery estimate. (Typically 2-weeks ARO.)
Note: To use these adaptors with a UV scope, you must remove the longpass visible blocking filter within the attachment.
