B>The FIND-R-SCOPE^® 84530UV-5 is a self-contained, "permanently folded" infrared viewer operating from the utraviolet into the near-infrared region of the spectrum. A high-resolution image converter tube and high voltage power supply combine with precision optics to permit a clear view of objects or images which can not otherwise be seen by the naked eye.

System Includes 26 mm, f/3.0 objective lens, battery, and carrying case.

Modes of Operation: The viewer can be used in two modes. As a stand-alone, hand-held UV - IR Viewer, or mounted to a microscope. The objective lens is removed and the Microscope Attachment is used in lieu of the objective lens when the unit is attached to a microscope.

Mounting: The FIND-R-SCOPE^® Viewer is monocular and can replace either of the microscope eyepieces, or mount to the center accessory mount (if your microscope has one). Please note that use of the appropriate Microscope Attachment for your particular microscope eyepiece tube O.D. is required. See part numbers 80386, 80596, or 80968 for the appropriate Microscope Attachment.

Note 2: To view in the UV region, the microscope must also have Ultra Violet transmitting optics.
